Cool Beans Comedy's Corey Craig and Matthew Moore catch up with
the hilarious Delanie Fischer to discuss her love of the stand up
lifestyle and her taping with Cool Beans!
Delanie Fischer started doing stand-up at UC Santa Barbara,
where she frequently took the stage at Laughology, a student-run
comedy show. After graduation, she immersed herself in the Los
Angeles comedy scene, co-producing and co-hosting The Nine Drink
Minimum, which quickly became one of the most popular live shows in
LA, featuring some of the biggest names in comedy from the comfort
of her mother’s living room. A graduate of The Second City
Conservatory and UCB Improv, Delanie co-created, co-produced, and
co-starred in the improvised web series, Two Inches Apart, which
was nominated for best comedic ensemble at LA Webfest.
Delanie has been featured on NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly
and was a series regular on Fox’s Laughs. Her other TV appearances
include Fox's Punchline, Hulu’s Stand Up and Deliver, Lifetime’s
Prank My Mom, VH1’s Walk of Shame Shuttle, and WEtv’s Bye Felicia.
This fall, you’ll also be able to catch her appearing in a film she
co-wrote, which is set to air on the Lifetime Movie
Network.
Delanie performs nationally and internationally at clubs,
colleges, festivals, theatres, and military events. Formerly a
creative consultant on a Nickelodeon TV show now in its third
season, she is currently the co-host of the Self-Helpless podcast
with fellow comedians Taylor Tomlinson and Kelsey Cook.
Despite these accomplishments, Delanie’s mother is convinced
that she will never give her grandchildren, and is currently
seeking them elsewhere.
